KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the inning s for India, but their partnership did not last long, as Rahul walked back at just four, while team’s leading run-getter in the series, Yashasvi Jaiswal, was out on 10. 

Shubman Gill started well and was seeing in good touch threw his wicket with a halfhearted attempt against Nathan Lyon right before the tea break.  

Virat Kohli, who was at seventeen after playing 68 deliveries, edged again the sixth stump line ball.  

While Rishabh Pant, the top-scorer for India in the innings with 40, was had the chance to turn his start into a memorable knock, missed the oppourtunity by taking a risk against the bowler of the day, Scott Boland.  

Ravindra Jadeja went out on 26, Washington Sundar’s dismissal was again an erroneous one.  

It was captain Jasprit Bumrah’s 22 that guided India to 185 after the team was down to 148 for 8 at one stage.  

Australia came into bat for three overs, and The Jasprit Bumrah did his job by removing Usman Khawaja for 2.
