This win marked the third straight win for Amazon Warriors, while for Royals it was their third consecutive loss. In this exciting game of cricket, we got see the firepower from both the teams. It all started with the firepower from the Warriors, where Theekshana tried to pull things early on but Hetmyer and Shai Hope smashed the ball in and out in the first inning. David Miller’s firey knock along with De Kock’s small cameo there was no really performance from Barbados Players.

Gudakesh Motie on the other end added pressure with the ball, along with key contributions from other bowlers allowed the Amazon Warriors to win the game by 47 runs in the end.

Amazon Warriors Shine with Shai Hope & Hetymer

After losing the toss the Warriors were sent out to bat first on the pitch where batting second was pretty good advantage to the due factor. Even though Azam Khan tried to start the firepower, he was dissed for an early 26 runs. But then it was Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer who carried the innings for Amazon Warriors.

Shai Hope smashed a brilliant 71 runs from 37 balls, while Hetymer scored 57 from 34 balls. This solid partnership from Hetymer and Shai Hope propped the Warrior’s score to 219-8 in 20 overs. Theekshana was the standout bowler from the Royals as he picked up three wickets. While Holder, Maharaj, and Obed McCoy chipped in with one wicket each.

David Miller Wonderfull Innings in Vain

Chasing 220 the Barbados Royals never really looked in great shape to win the game as they ended up losing by 47 runs. Quinton de Kock started the run flow with two sixes and three fours but however, his innings did not last long as the problems for the Royals continued. David Miller’s firey knock of 71* not out kept them alive but it was too late for him alone to carry the team over the line.

David Miller’s wonderful knock had five massive sixes and eight boundaries but in the end, it was in vain as his team lost the game. Amazon Warriors bowlers were on point in bowler-proper deliveries as their star bowler Gudakesh Motie picked up three wickets, and Moeen Ali and skipper Imran Tahir also picked up two wickets each. Dwaine Pretorius and Romario Shepherd chipped in with one wicket each to restrict Barbados Royals to 172/9 in 20 overs.
