In the 64th match of the Indian Premier League, Delhi Capitals clashed with Lucknow Super Giants at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium, New Delhi. Where Lucknow won the toss and choose to bowl first, Batting first Delhi Capitals posted 208 with 4 loss in 20 overs, with the likes of Abhishek Porel and Tristan Stubbs.  Lucknow Super Giants had a great fight but lost the match by 19 runs

DC vs LSG Highlights: Porel and Stubbs takes the Capitals to a good total.

Delhi Capitals started for the side with Jake Fraser and Abhishek Porel where Jake went off early in the start of the Innings. On the other hand Porel gave good start with Shai Hope who knocked 38 that made Delhi Capitals stable a little, but he departed to Ravi with a juggling catch by Kl Rahul. Then Skipper Rishabh Pant came in and supported the young Porel with his strike rotation ability. But Porel trying to hit big gave up his wicket  at 58. Then Tristan Stubbs came in a started to charge the LSG bowlers, who ultimately ended up at 57 off 25. But Delhi Capitals reached a mark of 200+. Delhi with 4 loss made it to 208/4.

In attack, LSG bowlers made it to dismantle the Delhi line up but only managed 4 wickets down. In which Naveen Ul Haq took 2 for the side. Additionally, Ravi Bishnoi and Arshad Khan took 1-1 each for the side.

Lucknow came in to chase with Quinton De Kock and KL Rahul but Ishant Sharma made it a point and eliminated both the opener duo in the power play. Then, Axar eliminated Marcus Stoinis in the 4th over. Then Deepak Hooda came in and could not handle Ishant in the 5 over, There Lucknow tumbled at 44/5.

But Lucknow made a come back with Nicholas Pooran who made much needed knock of 61. There no other batter was ahead with him to gave a back to the batting line up. Arshad Khan also gave a much needed support to the side. Other batters in the line up could not stay on the crease. Arshad Khan did not gave up to the last ball of the chase but could not take Lucknow to the wining line. Delhi Capitals won the match by 19 runs

In the attack Ishant Sharma took 3 wickets for the side which gave a major break through to the Delhi Capitals. In addition almost all the 8 Delhi Bowlers were successful today at the home pitch.
