In what comes a good news, the big update coming in that the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule will be announced next week, as per a report by Geo Super.  

An ICC (International Cricket Council) delegation is likely to travel Pakistan from November 10 to 12 to look over the preparations for the mega-event.  

Important announcements including schedule and crucial details of the eight-team tournament expected to be revealed during their visit.  

However, the Champions Trophy 2025, which will be hosted by Pakistan, is likely to start on February 19 and concludes on March 9, with a reserve day for final on March 10.  

Three venues have been decided to host the tournament – Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. Karachi will host the opening match of the event and a semi-final, while five group stage games are expected to be played in Rawalpindi, including semi-final 2.

Team India’s participation in ICC Champions Trophy 2025 

As per the proposed plans, India versus Pakistan clash is set to be played on March 1 at Lahore. But the Indian team is unlikely to travel to Pakistan, as BCCI prefers a hybrid model, with Indian matches to be held in either Dubai or Sri Lanka.
