BCCI CEO Rahul Johri’s Resignation Accepted

BCCI Official agreed to accept the resignation of Rahul Johri:

The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) is ready to part ways with its Rahul Johri, the chief executive officer of BCCI. On Thursday, his long-pending resignation has finally accepted by BCCI.

While the high-class officials of BCCI remained quiet regarding the development, a senior official of BCCI told a leading media house that they have taken the decision to accept his resignation letter on 27th December.

A BCCI official told a leading media house on the obscurity condition “The resignation of Rahul Johri has been accepted. Earlier, he was given extension till 30th April but this time his resignation is accepted”.

It is not understandable that what happened suddenly that the BCCI has taken the decision to accept the resignation of Rahul Johri.

In the year 2016, Rahul Johri joined the BCCI and previously he had put in his papers after the Supreme Court allotted Committee of Administrators (CoA) had established path for the Sourav Ganguly led to set up the run the world’s richest cricket board.

Then Rahul Johri was told to pursue until the conclusion of his contract, which will be expired in 2021.

However, once the Indian Cricket Board got back its administration, Rahul Johri was progressively more marginalized with his work domain including all the matters about International Cricket Council (ICC), being managed by secretary Jay Shah.
