BCCI Central Contract
The senior men’s team’s annual player contracts for the 2022–23 season have been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. In which all-arounder Ravindra Jadeja was upgraded to the A+ level. While KL Rahul was dropped to Grade B. Let us look into the details of the BCCI Central Contract.

The current captain of India, Rohit Sharma, the former skipper Virat Kohli. The injured Jasprit Bumrah are also included in the A+ category. Players in the A+ category will each receive Rs 7 crore.
Axar Patel, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Hardik Pandya has been placed in Grade A category. Will receive Rs 5 crore during the period of October 2022 through September 2023.
The Grade B category consists of Cheteshwar Pujara, K L Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Siraj, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubhman Gill. While Shubman received a contract promotion from the BCCI, Rahul was demoted. These players are anticipated to make Rs 3 crore.
While Umesh Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan, Shardul Thakur, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, and KS Bharat are all part of Grade C Category.
The BCCI’s decision to omit Ishant Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane from consideration for annual contracts signalled their departure from the team. Rahane and Ishant received Grade B contracts last year.
After receiving Grade C contracts for the previous season, players including Wriddhiman Saha, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hanuma Vihari, Mayank Agarwal, and Deepak Chahar were also dropped off the BCCI’s list of annual contracts this time.
