Chasing a target of 186, despite losing the first wicket early, Fargana Hogue and Sharmin Akter steadied their team’s ship and did a 143-run partnership for the second wicket.
Hogue played a solid knock of 61, while Akter smashed 72. Captain Nigar Sultana (18*) and Sobhana Mostary (7*) provided the finishing touches, as Bangladesh chased down the target in 37.3 overs with seven wickets in hand.
Earlier, Fahima Khatun bagged the most wickets for Bangladesh with three scalps, Sultana Khatuna and Nahida Akter claimed 2-2 each to restrict Ireland women to 185.

All-round Bangladesh complete 3-0 ODI series whitewash vs Ireland women
It’s been quite an exciting series for the Bangladesh team, as after defeating the visitors by a big margin of 154 runs in the series opener, they claimed a victory by five wickets in second match, followed by a dominant 7-wicket win in third game to complete whitewash 3-0.
Both teams will now compete in the three-match T-20 series, which begins on December 5. All the games will take place at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
Top performers in Bangladesh women vs Ireland women ODI series 2024
Sharmin Akter of Bangladesh scored the most runs in the series with 211 in three innings, including two fifties. Fargana Hogue scored a total of 172 in three innings. None of the batters from either side were not able to cross the 100-run mark in the series.
Sultana Khatun ended the series as the highest wicket-taker with seven, followed by Nahida Akter, who secured six wickets.
