1. Nitish Kumar Reddy Likely to Replace Shubman Gill in 2nd Test

Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy is set to return to the Indian Test XI for the series-deciding second Test against South Africa in Guwahati starting November 22.
According to reports, Reddy has been considered as a replacement for captain Shubman Gill, who walked off during Day 2 of the first Test at Eden Gardens after suffering neck pain. So let’a have a look at Babar Azam misconduct news.

Reddy last featured in a Test match during India’s home series against the West Indies and is now expected to reinforce the middle order in Gill’s absence.

2. Lungi Ngidi Replaces Kagiso Rabada in South Africa Squad

South Africa have announced Lungi Ngidi’s inclusion in the Test squad for the second match of the two-Test series against India.
Ngidi replaces Kagiso Rabada, who missed the first Test due to a rib injury and remains unavailable for the Guwahati fixture.

Ngidi last represented South Africa in a Test during the WTC final against Australia earlier this year.

3. Babar Azam Penalized for ICC Code of Conduct Breach

Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has been fined by the ICC for breaching Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the third ODI against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi.
The incident took place when Babar struck the stumps with his bat after being dismissed for 34 by Jeffrey Vandersay in the 21st over.

The ICC classified the offence as a Level 1 breach, attracting a monetary fine but no suspension.

4. Vijayakanth Viyaskanth Recalled as Cover for Hasaranga

Sri Lanka have recalled 24-year-old spinner Vijayakanth Viyaskanth for the ongoing Pakistan T20I tri-series.
The youngster, who last represented Sri Lanka in the Asian Games over two years ago, has been brought in as cover for Wanindu Hasaranga, who is nursing a hamstring issue.

However, Hasaranga has not yet been officially ruled out of the series.

5. India vs Bangladesh Women Series Reportedly Postponed

The scheduled India Women vs Bangladesh Women white-ball series has reportedly been postponed, due to diplomatic circumstances between the two boards.
A BCB spokesperson confirmed that they received a communication from the BCCI, stating that the series will be rescheduled for a later date.
