India still 193 runs behind from Australia’s 445, as the touring team ended the day 4 of the third BGT Test at 252 for 9.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma started the day for India, but the Indian captain Rohit Sharma not able to provide much support and (10) once again got out cheaply and left his side in trouble
Rahul, on the other hand, continued to play his best cricket and kept the scoreboard tickling, he was looking in good touch to play a big inning before a stunner by Steve Smith at first slip dismissed him for 84.
Ravindra Jadeja, playing his first match of the series, emerged as the innings and arguably the match saver for team India.
Came in at number 7 position, when the score was just 74, and the visiting side was 172 runs behind to save the follow-on.
Jadeja played a valuable knock of 77 that put India closer to a position to at least cross the follow-on mark.
However, it was the last wicket partnership between Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep that eventaully helped India cross the 246-run mark.
Bumrah remained unbeaten at 10, while Akash Deep also hit a crucial knock 27* to take India to 252 at stumps on day 4.

Australian bowlers performance in Gabba Test
Australian skipper Pat Cummins was the pick of the bowlers for his side, as he bagged four wickets, Mitchell Starc took three scalps, while Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon shared 1-1 wicket each.
The Australian side faced a setback on day 4 after their star pacer Josh Hazlewood suffered a calf injury and has been ruled out of the remaining test.
