Aleem Dar, renowned umpire of Pakistan has offered free food for those people, who have lost their job because of the novel coronavirus pandemic at his restaurant, situated at Lahore.
In Pakistan, near about 1200 COVID-19 cases are confirmed so far whereas nine people have lost their lives due to this deadly virus.
The Pakistani umpire has a restaurant in Lahore, named by ‘ Dar’s Delighto’ and he made an announcement that those people, who have lost their job due to the coronavirus outbreak, can get meals at his restaurant.
In a video message, Dar informed that “ Coronavirus is extending all over the globe day by day and its dangerous impacts are now being seen in Pakistan also.”
Also, the 51 years old Dar added that “However, without our combine effort or support, our government can’t control the situation. I personally request all people to follow the instructions and guidelines given by the government.
“ At this lockdown period, people have no jobs. I have a restaurant, whose name is Dar’s Delighto, situated on the Pia Road in Lahore. People, who have no job now can come here and eat food for free,” said the Pakistani umpire, who has umpired in 386 international matches.
Many Pakistani cricketers do their part to combat the deadly effects of coronavirus. Shahid Afridi, former Pakistani all-rounder has also donated sanitizer, soap, material as well as food to the needy people in Pakistan.
The fastest bowler in History, Shoaib Akhtar also urged people to help each other in this critical situation and requested to rise above religion as well as economic status.
Also in his YouTube channel, in a video, Shoaib Akhtar said that it is time for people to think about people first than anything else. “Time has come to be a human first, not a Hindu or a Muslim. People have to help each other , collect funds to fight against the coronavirus pandemic.”
