The Aussies Were Playing To Save Their IPL Contracts- Aaron Finch:
“Everyone knows how strong the India team is with the international or domestic IPL in terms of the financial part of the game.
“Within a little time, I feel like Australia cricket was going the opposite, and probably every other team sucked up to India. “They were too afraid to sledge Kohli or the other Indian players because in April they had to play with them,” Clarke said.
In response, Finch refused that the Australians were playing to save their IPL contracts. He said Clarke was entitled to his opinion, but the Australians were looking to find their way to playing Test cricket.
They Were Trying Their Best Way To Play Test Cricket- Michael:
“In reaction, Finch refused that the Australians were playing to save their IPL contracts. There is nothing like it. If you ask anyone playing on the field, they will tell you that it was very tough. It has played in the right spirit, but it was very tough. Not sure from where it was coming, “Finch quoted.
“The team has been experiencing a transformation, and several players have tried and doing that against India, in international cricket. You can’t escape from this sort of attack by Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin.
“Michael said that we were nice, but people were just trying to find the best way to play Test cricket. But everyone has the right to their views, maybe from the outside something we haven’t seen in, “added Finch.
India won 2-1 in Australia to record its first-ever Australian Soil Test Series win in 2018-19. India will tour Australia later this year, and if the tour goes along, with the coronavirus pandemic playing havoc, then the Australians will get a chance to make amends.
