Gujarat Titans: The three-year old team, who won their maiden title in their first attempt in 2002 and finished as runners-up in 2023, will continue under the leadership of young Shubman Gill despite not able to secure a playoff berth in 2024 season.  

Sunrisers Hyderabad: SRH, who have turned to Australian pacer Pat Cummins with the hope his leadership can turn their fortunes around, reached the finale in 2024, and will try to win the cup this time around.  

Punjab Kings: The franchise known for frequent captaincy changes, have named Shreyas Iyer as their skipper, hoping his leadership can finally bring them an IPL trophy. 

Royal Challengers Bengaluru: RCB have appointed Rajat Patidar as captain, an unexpected but intriguing choice.  

Rajasthan Royals: The winner of inaugural IPL in 2008, will be led once again by Sanju Samson as they look to build on their recent strong performances.  

Kolkata Knight Riders: The defending champions have opted for Ajinkya Rahane, whose calm presence might help them regain consistency.  

Lucknow Super Giants: The highest-paid player in the history of IPL, Rishabh Pant, will lead team LSG, adding firepower to their dynamic squad.  

Delhi Capitals: The Capitals have entrusted Axar Patel, a seasoned all-rounder, to guide them to success.
