RCB vs SRH 1st Innings Update
The much-anticipated match between Sunriser Hyderabad and Royal Challenger Bangalore is here and we are all for it! Winning the toss, the Orange side elected to field first. The Sunrisers did not just win the toss, they owned it. Performing at their best, the team bowled exceptionally well leaving no chance for RCB to utilize their loose bowling.
The most runs that came in an over were 9, bowled by Marco Jansen. Royals lost 4 of their most important wicket in just the first 5 overs of the game. At 10 overs the team was at 49 for 7. Continuing the performance, they couldn’t play the full 20 overs and got out scoring 68 runs in 16.1 overs.
None of the bowlers were wicketless. Marco Jansen and T Natarajan were the most successful bowlers getting 3 wickets each. Jagadeesha Suchith got 2 batters out, playing his 3rd match for SRH. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Umran Malik also had 1 wicket to their name. Kane Williamson had a great day as captain today.
Not just did SRH bowlers take consistent wickets, but they also kept all the batters restricted bowling economical spells. The highest score by RCB batters was from Suyash Prabhudesai who scored 15 runs. Besides him and Maxwell (12), none of the batters touched 2 digits mark.
The RCB has given a target of 69 runs for SRH to chase. Looking at the team’s form, it should be an easy task!
