IPL 2022: RCB fans set a world record for the most runs between the wickets in one hour.

On a 22-yard cricket pitch built up at the site, a large gathering of 187 RCB supporters got together to create a new official record by scoring 823 runs between the wickets. The Royal Challengers Bangalore became the first T20 team to be ranked among the top ten most popular teams on social media.

RCB and its official kit partner, PUMA, have always focused on providing fans with personalized experiences. This time, they’ve pushed it to the next level, setting a world record in front of Dutee Chand and Rupinder Pal Singh, two of India’s greatest athletes.

We are committed to engaging and serving our consumers in the best possible way. It was great to see cricket fans come in such a huge number to set this new world record. The atmosphere was quite electrifying, and we are glad to get fans on a single platform for this initiative,” PUMA India & Southeast Asia Managing Director Abhishek Ganguly stated.

The official attempt for the world record was kicked off by India’s top sprinter Dutee Chand, who was accompanied by supporters who donated runs to the effort.

“It was an honor to be a part of this occasion.” I never dreamed a record like this could be set on a cricket field. “Seeing so many supporters come together for one sports event was heartwarming,” Dutee remarked.

The RCB fans, dubbed the “12th Man Army,” sported the team’s shirt and cricket kit while securing the record.

“Supporters are always a blessing for any sportsperson or team, and having dedicated and enthusiastic fans is always a blessing,” Indian hockey team drag-flicker Rupinder stated.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have made a strong showing in the upcoming IPL 2022 and are vying for a playoff spot.
