MI vs LSG 2nd Innings 10 Overs Update
The contest between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians is on and it has gotten all of us excited. After winning the toss, Mumbai decided to field first. After the end of 1st innings, Mumbai are given a total of 169 runs to chase and win the game. At the end of 10 overs, while chasing, Mumbai Indians’ total is 59 for 3. In the last 5 overs, the team managed to score just 28 runs by losing 3 important wickets.
Things looked good for Mumbai during the first six overs as Rohit Sharma with Ishan Kishan on the other side was hitting the ball neatly. Although they did not score much runs, but Rohit looked in form. The power play restrictions didn’t help the scoreboard tick as the team scored 43 runs in the first 6 overs.
Jason Holder bowled the 6th over of the innings and freed the batters as he got hit for 12 runs for the over. The 8th over of the innings was bowled by Ravi Bishnoi who got LSG the much-required breakthrough by getting Ishan Kishan out and conceding just 5 runs from the over.
2 runs and a wicket of Dewald Brevis came off the 9th over of the innings bowled by Mohsin Khan where he kept things tight. Krunal Pandya bowled the 10th over of the innings and got the wicket of Rohit Sharma.
The run rate at the end of 10 overs is 5.90 while the required run rate is 11.00. Mumbai needs to score 110 runs in the next 60 balls. Surya Kumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are at the crease now.
