Navendu Tyagi is the current coach of Rajasthan and speaking about Chahar he said – “He was so enthusiastic. So was his father. Chahar’s discipline was a result of his father’s association with the Indian Air Force. My approach to coaching was more holistic, but his father was a great influence on him,”
Chahar used to travel with his father for almost 110 Kms daily from Suratgarh to Hanumnagarh. It was during the year 2010 when Chahar has made his first-class debut against Hyderabad and made a huge mark with a sensational spell of 7.3-2-10-8.
Chahar has also taken his bowling lesson from coach Tarak Sinha and medium-pacer Manoj Prabhakar. Speaking about Chahar both coach Prabhakar said – “I remembered Tarak sir telling me to stick to line and length. And I followed his instructions. The first wicket was the boost I needed, a good out-swinger that kissed the edge and went to the wicketkeeper. I know what judicious use of various means,”

Deepak Chahar’s fortune changed when he started playing under MS Dhoni – In his career graph, Dhoni played a major role by assisting, mentoring, and giving enough opportunities to prove his true potential.

Many of the cricket experts are predicting that he will not available for IPL 2022 and a few of them oppose those statements. But there is no proper clarification from both BCCI and CSK management about his injury.
