Jos Buttler Played With Rajasthan Royals In 2018:

England Batsman Jos Buttler said that the cash-rich T20 tournament is the most popular in the world after the ICC World Cups as the Indian Premier League ( IPL) helps English Cricket to develop.

In the opinion of Batsman Jos Buttler, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has helped the English cricket to develop and accepted that the cash-rich T20 is the best tournament in the world

Butler said he was rushed to become part of the IPL this year which has been indefinitely suspended, because of the COVID 19 pandemic, .

“I’ve been trying to play it all. To me, it is the best World Cup competition in the world, “he said.

English Cricket Has Got Quite An Interesting History With The IPL:

Buttler said the League is like a fantastic cricket he aspired to play as a child along with the top stars of the game rubbing shoulders, making massive strides as a white baller after a few seasons of IPL.

“A couple of the matchups in IPL are awesome. Bangalore was one of the top three teams with Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Chris Gayle who came up and see them against Jasprit Bumrah or a Dale Steyn or Lasith Malinga.

Buttler credited Kevin Pietersen, former skipper of Australia, who advocated a separate IPL window, to pave the way for English players to participate in this rich tournament.

“The IPL has a pretty interesting history for English cricket. He clarified the documentary about Kevin Pietersen and how he wanted to be included and he faced the roadblocks

“Many of us have truly paved the way to play in the IPL with more English cricket blessing. He is a pioneer in the building of the steps needed to detect the importance of IPL for cricket development, “he added.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic that this year also cast doubt on the Australian T20 World Cup, the 13th IPL was postponed indefinitely, which was scheduled to begin in March this year.

It is reported that the T20 World Cup in Australia will be postponed by IPL between October-November.
