Who is Desert Vipers Captain: Desert Vipers have chosen Colin Munro to lead them in the inaugural season of ILT20 in the United Arab Emirates. This will be the first time in Colin Munro’s career that he will be captaining a squad.
Munro, a left-handed opener for New Zealand, last played for his team in February 2020. But he has been a frequent fixture of elite T20 tournaments.
Colin Munro’s Career Experience
In addition to appearing in 357 T20 games and representing teams in the IPL, BBL, PSL, CPL, and The Hundred tournament. Munro has also accumulated franchise opportunities and experiences over the course of his remarkable career.
In addition to T20 leagues, he also played for New Zealand in a Test match against South Africa, two additions of the men’s T20 World Cup (2014 and 2016), and the World Cup in Sri Lanka (2006). (January 2013).

Munro’s comments after the announcement
Being a professional and modest individual, Munro welcomes this opportunity as a challenge for himself and feels that big decisions should be made in collaboration with other seniors. ” I think I will be collaborative and will use everybody’s experience in the group,” he stated.
He further added saying “I think I will be trying to make sure everybody has an enjoyable month. It is a team with a lot of players who play franchise cricket and if we can have a really good month, on and off the field. It will go a long way to us playing good cricket.”
Munro’s comments on the possible clash of BBL and ILT20
Munro, who is travelling from Australia to join the Desert Vipers team just before the ILT20 starts, has played eight Big Bash League games for the Brisbane Heat. Munro said that the team and he would benefit from his tardiness. “The Big Bash League. is a good tournament to be involved in. And has high-quality cricket, so hopefully I will be in good form. And hitting the ball well, and making sure I hit the ground running when I get to the UAE for the ILT20.”
