CSK vs KKR 25th Match Highlights For Indian Premier League 2025 Today

Chennai Super Kings’ campaign took another hit as they slumped to their fifth consecutive defeat this season, losing to Kolkata Knight Riders by eight wickets in a one-sided encounter at Chepauk. Let’s look at CSK vs KKR Highlights for 25th Match Today.

The loss has severely dented CSK’s playoff hopes, leaving them with little room for error in the remaining fixtures. With just eight games left, even one or two more losses could push them out of contention entirely.

On a pitch where KKR made the chase look like a walk in the park, CSK’s batting performance was nothing short of clueless. Despite boasting some experienced names, their innings never found momentum and ended in a tame total that barely tested their opponents.

CSK vs KKR scorecard, match 25 of IPL 2025

Chennai Super Kings103/9 (20 overs)
Kolkata Knight Riders107/2 (10.1 overs)

Batting first, CSK crumbled to 103/9 in 20 overs. Their innings was marred by poor shot selection and tight bowling from KKR. Rachin Ravindra (4 off 9) and Devon Conway (12 off 11) fell early, and the middle order couldn’t capitalize.

Vijay Shankar top-scored with a 21-ball 29, and Shivam Dube added 31 off 29, but a collapse followed as wickets tumbled at regular intervals.

Sunil Narine (3/13), Harshit Rana (2/16), and Varun Chakaravarthy (2/22) were clinical, making life miserable for the CSK batters.

KKR made short work of the chase, wrapping up the game in just 10.1 overs. Quinton de Kock smashed 23 off 16 before falling to Anshul Kamboj.

Sunil Narine played a stylish knock of 44 off just 18 balls, including five fours and two sixes. Ajinkya Rahane (20*) and Rinku Singh (15*) ensured no hiccups as KKR reached the target with 59 balls to spare.

CSK bowlers were ineffective and lacked bite. Noor Ahmad (1/20) and Kamboj (1/19) were the only wicket-takers, but the rest offered little resistance. The defeat not only highlighted CSK’s poor form but also showcased Kolkata Knight Riders dominance as they continue to stay strong and recorded their third win this season.
