Chennai Batting lineup stumbles again
Mukesh Sharma hunted down Rachin Ravindra in his first over, and caught his short ball as Sharma dismissed Ravindra for just 3 runs. The skipper was next in line, who was dismissed for just 5 runs. After which dismissals were consistent, until Vijay Shankar managed to stay on the pitch for 69 runs and 54 balls. Shankar managed to hit 5 fours and 1 six in his 54 ball stint.
Shivam Dube entered the pitch as Impact Player and managed to hit a four on his first ball, after Dube’s dismissal in the 9th over for just 18 runs, Jadeja had a very short stint on the pitch for just 2 runs. After his dismissal Dhoni came on the strike and managed to stay on the pitch for 30 runs and 26 balls. Although there were 5 wickets remaining for CSK, they fell short of 25 runs, as Delhi Capitals won the match and got on top spot on the points table. Vipraj Nigam was the best bowler from the Delhi Side, as he managed to take 2 wickets in his 4 over stint as he managed to give away just 27 runs.
