IND Vs ENG 5th test: Weather update on day 4 of rescheduled test

The ongoing fifth and final Test match of the 5-match series between India and England at Edgbaston has been dominated by team India so far.

Visitors first posted 416 runs on the board before getting bundled out and then restricted England to 284 to grab a handy 132-run lead. While in the second innings team India have reached 125 for 3 by stumps on day 3.

Rain disrupted the play on the first day, and it had a similar effect on it on the second and third days as well. This dampened the supporters’ excitement about the play on the weekend.

India vs England 5th test: Will the rain spoils the fun on day 4?

Now, it would be interesting to watch whether rain delays occur on the fourth day after the weather interrupts the first three days. According to Accuweather, there will be rain on Day 4 and complete overs can be played in the game.

However, it will remain a bit cloudy throughout the day on day 4, according to Accuweather. The sun will remain on the back seat and will show his face in middle. But the cloud covers are expected to remain there till the end of day’s play. While the temperature in the entire day is expected to be around 19 degrees, the chance of rainfall is 0 to 10 per cent.

Talking about the game, India have showed the complete dominance in the game. As after posting 416 on board in the first innings, they bowled out England for 284. With that, the Jasprit Bumrah-led side took a 132 runs lead.

For India, Mohammed Siraj bagged four. While the skipper Jasprit Bumrah grabbed 3, Mohammed Shami 2, and Shardul Thakur took a single wicket.

India faced a tough start in the second innings as they lost the opener, Shubman Gill, too early. And with similar kind of knocks from both Hanuma Vihari and Virat Kohli, both walked back to the pavilion. Cheteshwar Pujara 50* and Rishabh Pant 30* will resume the play for India on day four.

India is currently 257 runs ahead of the hosts.
