IND Vs BAN Kuldeep Yadav’s exclusion: The china man spinner of India, Kuldeep Yadav, was once again unable to make the starting lineup for the second test match against Bangladesh, despite playing the biggest role in India’s big win by 188-run over Bangladesh in first test.
Kuldeep Yadav played a crucial 40-run knock with the bat to help team India cross the 400-run mark. Then he took a 5-wicket haul to restrict Bangladesh to just 150 and hand India a big lead.
During the second innings, the left-arm spinner again bagged 3 wickets and later awarded player of match for his impressive 8 wickets with bowl and 40 important runs with the bat.
But, team India once again ignored him and took Jaydev Unadkat in place of him.
KL Rahul, the captain of team India, confirmed that this was the only alteration made to the team’s XI during the toss, while the Bangladeshi team’s captain, Shakib Al Hasan, decided to bat in Dhaka.
Supporters of Kuldeep Yadav resorted to Twitter to express their outrage after Team India’s playing 11 for second test against Bangladesh revealed.

Kuldeep made his Test debut against Australia back in 2017, but he has been in and out of the Indian Test team for a while now.
Bangladesh made two changes following their 188-run loss in the first test match at Chattogram, replacing Yasir Ali and Ebadot Hossain with batter Mominul Haque and fast bowler Taskin Ahmed. Due to a back injury, Hossain was unable to bowl in the first test’s second innings.
India made one change, bringing back pacer Jaydev Unadkat after a 12-year absence.
Unadkat faced South Africa in his lone test in December 2010. He took over for wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, whose 8-113 game haul in the first test was crucial to India’s victory.
Rahul, the captain of India, said that even though the wicket was “confusing,” India would have batted if he had won the toss.
“We made one change – Kuldeep misses out and Unadkat comes in. Unfortunate decision for us to leave him (Kuldeep) out but it’s an opportunity for Unadkat,” Rahul was quoted as saying during the toss.
India, which is currently in second place in the World Test Championship, has a chance to maintain that position by defeating Bangladesh in the second Test.
