IND-W Vs AUS-W
There is more action coming up from Women in Blue. Australia is all set to tour India ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup. The series comes as a practice for the big tournament. Let us look at IND-W Vs AUS-W Host, Squad, Schedule, and match details.
IND-W Vs AUS-W – India Set to Host Australia In December
India will host Australia for a five-match Twenty20 International series beginning on December 9. The first two games of the 11-day tour will be played at the DY Patil Stadium, with the remaining three taking place at the Brabourne Stadium. All five of the games will be played in Mumbai. The series resumes as both teams prepare for the Women’s T20 World Cup in February of next year.
India Women Vs Australia Women: Squad Expection
Following their victory at the Commonwealth Games, where these two teams last played, Australia may be without their normal captain Meg Lanning for the first time in a series since she is on an indefinite mental health leave. Australia lacks a captain at the moment because Rachael Haynes announced her retirement. Since Lanning’s return is still uncertain, Alyssa Healy, who was named vice-captain, may assume leadership duties for this tour.
The Women’s Big Bash League, which ends on November 26, will serve as the players’ springboard into the series. Some Indian athletes, such as Pooja Vastrakar and Jemimah Rodrigues, chose to compete in the WBBL, but others, such as Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana, withdrew due to their growing workload.
IND-W Vs AUS-W: Last encounters

When Australia last visited India for a limited-overs series in 2018, they completely dominated the hosts in one-day internationals (ODIs), then defeated them twice in a tri-nation women’s T20 series.
