#5 Kusal Mendis – 16
He started this World Cup with a bang. Kusal Mendis almost threatened to chase down South Africa’s record total of 428 in the first game. He is someone who is equally good against both pace and spin. He has featured in 11 World Cup games so far scoring 361 runs at a strike rate of 99.72. Mendis has smashed 16 sixes so far. It is in this World Cup wherein he has really come into his own.
#4 David Miller – 19
It is the third World Cup for David Miller. He was an integral member of the squad in 2015 where South Africa lost out in the semi finals. Miller found a new lease of life post a sensational IPL 2022. He continues to be a key figure for South Africa in the middle order. Miller is among the finest finishers in the modern game. In 18 World Cup matches, Miller has scored 559 runs at a strike rate of 117.43. He has smashed 19 sixes in the process.

It was his comeback tournament in international cricket after serving a year long ban. There were question marks over his future in Australian colours earlier this year but he has put all those speculations to rest. Warner has scored 27 sixes in 22 World Cup games.

He is a clear number 1 on this list with the 9 sixes ahead of the second best. Rohit Sharma narrowly missed out on the 2011 World Cup. He was one of the most promising talents in the 2015 World Cup. Sharma scored 1 century in that edition. He broke all World Cup records in 2019. Sharma became the first player to score 5 centuries in a single World Cup.
He was the top scorer with 648 runs. Sharma added one more World Cup hundred when he smashed 131 against Afghanistan. The Indian captain, has been keen to go hard in the powerplay. Sharma has scored 36 maximums in just 21 World Cup games so far!
