According to the first Women’s Future Tours Program (FTP) released by the ICC, the Indian women’s cricket team will travel to 65 international games over a three-year span. Let us look at Indian Women’s Cricket Future Tours Programs.

As part of the complete FTP programme, which spans from May 2022 to April 2025, the ICC announced that India will also host two Test matches against England and Australia at home in 2023–24.

India will participate in 36 T20Is and 27 ODIs during the course of the three-year period. During their May trip of Sri Lanka, it already played three ODIs and the same number of T20Is.

They will host some home series against New Zealand, South Africa, the West Indies, and Ireland while they will travel to face Australia, England, Sri Lanka (which it has already played), and Bangladesh.

The five-match T20I series that India will play against Australia later this year will be one of the major events in this period.

One Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is will be played during Australia’s multi-format tour of India in the summer of 2023–24. In return, the Indians will visit Australia in the winter of 2025–26. (One Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is).

In addition to the global ICC events (two T20 World Cups and ODI World Cup in 2025), 301 games will be played in total over that time (seven Tests, 135 ODIs, and 159 T20Is).

Before the 2025 World Cup, teams in the 2022–25 Women’s Championship will typically play three-match bilateral ODI series. “All bilateral T20I matches count towards respective team rankings, which in turn serves as a primary mechanism for determining the teams that qualify for ICC global events,” added.

“This is a huge moment for the women’s game,” ICC general manager of cricket, Wasim Khan, said in a statement.

“This FTP not only lends certainty to future cricket tours but also sets the base for a structure that is sure to grow in the coming years,” Khan added.
