#10 Ben Stokes sixes in WTC – 6
The new England captain went big against the West Indies in Bridgetown in March 2022. Ben Stokes scored 120 off just 128 balls in a stroke-filled inning. He smashed 6 sixes and 11 fours scoring 80 runs in boundaries.
#9 Mayank Agarwal sixes in WTC – 6
It was the last time when two Indian openers forged a command opening stand in home conditions. Mayank Agarwal put up a dazzling show scoring 215 runs. His knock comprised 23 fours and 6 sixes.
#8 Rohit Sharma Sixes in WTC – 6
The new Test skipper was on a roll in Vishakhapatnam against South Africa in 2019. He scored a fine century (176) setting up a solid foundation for the home team. Rohit Sharma’s innings contained 23 fours and 6 sixes which was eerily similar to Agarwal’s knock.
#7 Rohit Sharma Sixes in WTC – 6
It was Rohit Sharma’s maiden series as a Test opener. He kept on piling runs game after game during this series. Sharma scored a maiden double century (212) in Ranchi. His knock comprised 28 fours and 6 sixes totalling 148 runs in boundaries.
#6 Rohit Sharma Sixes in WTC – 7
The second innings of the Vishakhapatnam Test saw Rohit Sharma setting up a famous Indian win. He scored at a frenetic pace as India declared with an eye to win. Sharma smashed 127 off 149 balls laced with 10 fours and 7 sixes.
#5 Quinton De Kock Sixes in WTC – 7
The diminutive southpaw put the West Indies attack to sword in June 2021. Quinton De Kock scored a tremendous century to help South Africa win comfortably. He scored 141 off 170 balls with 7 sixes and 12 fours to his name.
#4 Jonny Bairstow Sixes in WTC- 7
It was this inning that put bazball theory into motion. Jonny Bairstow went berserk against New Zealand in Nottingham last year. England comfortably chased down a score of 299 in just 50 overs. Bairstow smashed 136 off 92 balls scoring 7 sixes and 14 boundaries in the process.
#3 Kyle Mayers Sixes in WTC – 7
It was a year of steep run chases. West Indies chased down a total of 395 with 3 wickets in hand. It was Kyle Mayers who brilliantly orchestrated the chase. He scored a maiden double hundred on his Test debut in the fourth innings of a Test. Mayers 210 comprised 20 fours and 7 sixes in total.
#2 Ben Stokes Sixes in WTC – 8
It remains one of the greatest Test innings of all time. Ben Stokes singlehandedly won England the game from nowhere. He scored an unbeaten 135 at Leeds in the third Ashes Test to level the series 1-1. Stokes scored 11 fours and 8 sixes during this knock.

India had dismissed Bangladesh for just 150. India in reply posted a tall score of 493. It was largely down to Mayank Agarwal’s brilliant 243. The opener smashed 28 fours and 8 sixes in this knock.
