Closing Ceremony CWC23: Fans from all around the world are looking forward to the biggest closing ceremony of all time, which is expected to be a fitting farewell to ICC ODI World Cup 2023, as the exciting 45-day cricketing spectacle of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 approaches its zenith. 

Not only will the match between Australia and India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad be a contest for cricketing glory, but it will also include an enthralling four-part closing ceremony.

Let’s look at the details of the Closing Ceremony;

Part One: Soaring Heights with Suryakiran Acrobatic Team

The spectacular opening air display by the Indian Air Force’s famed Suryakiran Acrobatic Team takes place at 12:30 PM IST, setting the tone for the spectacular event. 

Nine hawk aircraft, flown by Flight Commander Wing Commander Sidesh Karthik, will paint the sky with an amazing aerobatic show timed to music. This unprecedented vertical air show over the stadium seems to be the beginning of an exciting day.

Part Two: Honoring Legends – Felicitation of World Cup-Winning Captains

During the halftime break, there will be a crazy ritual at approximately 5:30 PM IST. A distinctive blazer will be awarded to each of the legendary captains who led their teams to victory in the ICC World Cup. 

As each champion captain takes the field, a 20-second film featuring their winning moments will play on the enormous screens.

Part Three: Bollywood Magic with Pritam and Laser Extravaganza

Bollywood music director Pritam will add a dash of glitz with a musical performance that will stun the audience with more than 500 dancers in his enormous entourage. 

Around 8:30 PM IST, there will be a 90-second laser show to enthrall the fans during the second drinks break of the second innings. Modern laser technology combined with Bollywood tunes delivers an amazing experience.

Part Four: A Grand Finale – Fireworks and Aerial Spectacle

Finally, at the end of the closing ceremony, the winners will be welcomed with an amazing fireworks display and a drone aerial performance. The night sky above Ahmedabad will be lighted in a symphony of colors as the last ball is bowled and the match comes to an end, congratulating message will be displayed for the winning team in an incredible way.
