Despite contributions from Virat Kohli (31) and MS Dhoni (27), Dinesh Karthik and Suresh Raina fell early. Indian bowlers then dominated, helping India secure a 26-run victory.

In the 2017 Champions Trophy final, Pakistan set a formidable total of 338/4 against India, with openers Fakhar Zaman (114 off 106) and Azhar Ali (59 off 71) forming a 128-run partnership. Babar Azam (46) and Mohammad Hafeez (57*) provided valuable contributions. Zaman’s aggressive century guided the innings.
