Yuvraj Angered Indian Fans Recently By Supporting Afridi
Yuvraj Singh recently was in the middle of the Twitter storm when he supported former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, who was helping his country to fight the corona disaster.
He wrote on his Twitter showing solidarity with Afridi,” These are testing times, it’s time to look out each other especially the ones who are lesser fortunate. Let’s do our bit, I am supporting @SAfridiOfficial & @SAFoundationN in this noble initiative of covid19.”

However Yuvraj’s comment was misunderstood by many Indians and they made negative comments on him for supporting an arch-rival team member, though Afridi thanked him for his backing.
The left-handed batsman in response to the backlash clarified on his Instagram later that he is an Indian and will always bleed blue.
He posted a note on his Instagram which read, “I really don’t understand how a message to help the most vulnerable people gets blown out of proportion! All I tried to achieve through that message was to help people in our own respective countries by providing healthcare, my intention was not to hurt anyone’s feelings. I’m an Indian and I will always bleed blue and will always stand for humanity. Jai Hind.”
