Over-40 World Cup 2024 Schedule
With one of its kind of cricket tournament, the International Masters Cricket (IMC) is organizing a 45-over per side cricket tournament, starting February 19.
There will be as many as 12 teams participating in the contest, starring some renowned cricket stars in each team. Wasim Jaffer and Pravin Tambe will be seen playing for India Over-40s in the competition.
The IMC Over-40s World Cup 2024 matches will be hosted in 15 venues in Cape Town.
How many teams are participating in the Over-40 World Cup 2024?
Twelve teams, including Australia, Canada, England, Namibia, USA, Zimbabwe, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, UAE and Wales are the teams participating in the tournament. The teams are divided into 2 groups.
Group A – Australia, Canada, England, Namibia, USA and Zimbabwe
Group B – India, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, UAE and Wales

What is the format of Over-40 World Cup 2024?
The twelve teams will compete in single round-robin format.
The top two teams after the end of group stage will then advance to the semifinals, and the winners of both those semis will then play the finale of IMC Over-40 World Cup on Match 1.
