Why Shane Warne is not playing the charity match- Bushfire Relief Match?

It is quite surprising that the renowned spinner Shane Warne is not playing the Bushfire Relief Match. Let’s find out the actual reason behind his decision:

The Match Timings And Venue Has Been Changed:

For the upcoming Bushfire Relief Match, the final playing list of eleven players was revealed yesterday. The change in venue and timings of the match has made it impossible to play for some players to involve in the star-studded Bushfire Relief match.

At first, the charity match was fixed after the Big Bash League. The final match of Big Bash league is on 8th February, Saturday. The charity match will now be played on Sunday, February 9th to make sure that cold weather predictions don’t play spoilsport in either of the two matches.

Besides the timing, the match has been changed from Sydney to Melbourne Junction Oval stadium, where there will be a Tri-Nation Series involving India Women, Australia Women and England Women.

Shane Warne, previous Australia captain announced as a captain alongside Ricky Ponting. But he will be missing the match due to the previous contract. Other popular players who also won’t take part in this game are former Australia captain Michael Clarke and former batsman Michael Hussey.

The main reason behind players missing the charity game is the changing of date and venue. It is almost impossible for the players to travel from Sydney to Melbourne. The match will be covered by Seven Network and Fox Cricket.

Shane Warne Is Not Playing The Bushfire Relief Match:

Warne is worried, he quoted that he has a previous contract with the Mandela Foundation in Cape Town on Sunday. Warne used his Twitter platform to inform that no flights are servicing from South Africa to Melbourne at that time.

If we are saying about the charity match then it’s no bowling constraints, a powerplay of five overs, no limits of overs for bowlers, batsmen can’t get out from the first ball they face, regular alternate fielders and allowance of skippers to sub batters in and out at the time of the innings have added interest among the audiences.
