While the Indian opener batsman, Mayank Agarwal posted a photo with his teammates on the social media platform, the cricket fans thrashed him after seeing this on Twitter. The reactions of the fans came after when India lost the first Test match with an embarrassing ten-wicket difference against New Zealand.

The Indian fans expressed their sadness on the image posted by the Karnataka batsman. The photo featured him along with captain Virat Kohli, Rishab Pant, and Ishant Sharma.
In the first Test series held in Wellington, India lost the match on the 4th day after a disappointing performance from the batsman. Mayank Agarwal was the only batsman who scored a half-century in the match. It was India’s first loss in ICC World Test Championship.
Cricket experts, including Kapil Dev, the World Cup-winning captain, also raised questions over the Indian Batsmen’s performance. He asked an issue over the selection of the Indian team. He banged the batsman for their failure. Bowler Ishant Sharma and opener Mayank Agarwal were the only players who displayed any fight with their performance.

The word war did not stop here. Many Twitter users suggested to the Indian players to practice instead of roaming and sightseeing. A depressed fan commented, “Stop Posing and Start Playing.”
At the same time, some fans are encouraging them with their wishes to win the second match of the Test series, and expecting centuries from the team India.

The second test match is going to be held on 29th February at Hagley Oval Stadium in Christchurch. Indian players will try to win the match and draw the series.
