Gambhir to quit Politics: Former Indian cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has announced his decision to step down from politics on March 2nd. Gambhir cited his desire to focus on his cricket commitments as the reason behind his resignation. He expressed gratitude towards BJP leaders JP Nadda, Narendra Modi, and Amit Shah for giving him the opportunity to serve. Gambhir, who won the East Delhi Lok Sabha seat in 2019, will now concentrate on his role as a mentor for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the upcoming IPL 2024 season. His departure also comes ahead of the looming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the IPL 2024 season.
