During a match in Mzansi Super League, Shamsi celebrated the wicket of David Miller during a match with Durban Heat. The Paarl Rocks won the match by a margin of 6 wickets and registered their 3rd victory out of 8 matches.

During the match, Shamsi picked up two wickets but was a bit expensive as he gave away 37 runs in his four overs.
Paarl Rocks were asked to bat after by Durban Heat and things did not go as planned for the latter.
Faf du Plessis began with a decent score of 66 runs in just 36 balls and Cameron Delport scored a match-winning knock of 84 runs in 49 balls, after blazing knocks from these 2 batsmen, Paarl Rocks managed to put a challenging total of 195 for 2.
Alex Hales, Vince’s countryman, who started the Durban Heat innings, playing an outstanding unbeaten 97 runs in 55 balls to get his team to over the line with seven balls remaining.
David Miller too chipped in with a critical knock for the Heat with 40 runs in 22 balls.
