The Indian team staged a remarkable comeback against England in the 2nd Test in Chennai. They managed to beat the visitors comfortably by 317 runs. The Indian team appears to be a relaxed outfit heading into the 3rd Test in Ahmedabad. The 2nd Test win was a much-needed boost to the morale of the players.
Ravichandran Ashwin was the chief architect behind the team’s outstanding victory in that Test. He scored a fabulous 100 in the 2nd innings while picked up a 5-wicket haul in the first innings. The entire team rallied along with Ashwin to notch a famous win.
The Test series is tantalisingly poised at 1-1 with two Tests to play. Both the teams have landed in Ahmedabad and seem to have taken a liking for the new stadium. The Indian team in particular is very impressed with the gym facilities inside the stadium.
The dance video:
Ravichandran Ashwin shared a video on his Instagram account from one of the team’s fitness sessions. The video speaks volumes about the camaraderie the Indian team has. It starts with Ashwin doing the famous shoulder drop to a song called “Vaathi Coming” from the movie Master. Ashwin asks Hardik Pandya to join him in the dance and both of them merrily keep swaying. Pandya later makes way for Kuldeep Yadav who goes ballistic with his dance moves. The trio seem to be having a lot of fun in the dance video. Their energy and happiness are there for everyone to see.

It is a known fact that Hardik Pandya is an entertainer, both on and off the field. Hence to see him dance isn’t really a surprise. But what has caught everyone’s attention is the dancing skills of Kuldeep Yadav. The left-arm chinaman bowler showcases fantastic dancing skills in the video. It is heartwarming to see a player like him in this happy space as Yadav has had a pretty ordinary year and a half up until now.
India have a chance to qualify for the WTC finals:
The team will be looking forward to carrying on the momentum built from the 2nd Test win. If India manages to win both the remaining Tests against England they will book themselves a spot for the finals against New Zealand in the World Test Championship. An exciting finale awaits!
