Virat Kohli Posts A Picture with His Wife Anushka Sharma

On Saturday, Virat Kohli wrote history as he became the fastest in international cricket to score 70 centuries. Moreover, he enjoyed quite a lot of success in recent months as a leader, especially in Test cricket. Under the leadership of Kohli, Team India became the world’s first side to register four consecutive Test wins with an innings margin.

Before the Bangladesh Test series, the Indian Skipper was given a short break when he traveled to exotic locations in Bhutan with wife Anushka Sharma. Kohli shared a picture with his wife after winning the series, showing them walking down a hill. “Walking together in the journey of life with nothing But love @AnushkaSharma,” Kohli said in the caption of the picture.

In the historic pink-ball Test at Eden Garden in Kolkata, Kohli leading from the front scored his 27th century, helping the hosts clinch the match with an innings and 46 runs.

Kohli, who is already India’s most successful Test Captain with 33 wins in 53 matches, helped his team post a daunting 347/9 total declared in Kolkata Test’s first innings.

With the hundred, Kohli went past the tally of 19 Test centuries as captain of former Australia skipper Ricky Ponting. The list is led by the 25-hundred-old South African captain Graeme Smith.

Besides, on the first day of the second Test, Kohli became the first Indian skipper to go past the 5000-run mark in the game’s longest format.

India is next playing the West Indies in the limited-overs series of three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and as many One-day Internationals (ODIs).

Kohli, who was not part of the T20I series of three matches against Bangladesh, will lead the limited-overs squads against the West Indies.
