Virat Kohli Shares First Experience Of “Mumbai Monsoon” On His Social Media Account:
Virat Kohli, much like other cricketers around the world, is on a forced break from the game due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. On Thursday Virat Kohli took to Instagram to share a glimpse of how India’s captain spends his time at home. Kohli posted a picture of him reading a book as he experienced his first proper Mumbai Monsoon, and “enjoying the weather.”
“Great weather in Mumbai. Sitting out to enjoy the start of my first proper Mumbai monsoon experience. It couldn’t be a better time to start reading something,” Kohli captioned the image on Instagram.
Many current and former cricketers, including his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate AB de Villiers, have reacted to Kohli ‘s post. But it was the comment from David Warner which took the cake.
“Bit of grey in that young feller beard @virat.kohli,” Warner said as he took a cheeky dig at the captain of India.
Former South African batsman AB de Villiers, while reacting to the post, called Kohli “sophisticated.’
Despite being away from the game, Virat Kohli does make sure he stays in shape and keeps fit. The captain of India has posted many photos and videos, exposing his fitness routine on social media.
Cricket, much like other sports, has been hugely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. International cricket is set to resume for a three-match Test series with England hosting the West Indies next month.
