Virat Kohli Burns Some Extra Calories Ahead Of 3rd Test Match Against England

Ahead of the upcoming day-night IND vs ENG 3rd Test at Motera Stadium, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is making sure that he gets prepared and leaves nothing behind as an excuse to cement India’s spot in the WTC (World Test championship) final qualification.

India and England arrived at the Motera stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday for their third pink-ball Test. The four-match series currently stands level at 1-1. The fourth Test of the series will also be played at the Motera Stadium.

Earlier, BCCI’s selection committee, on Wednesday, announced that pacer Umesh Yadav will join the team in Ahmedabad after he passed the fitness test for the third and fourth Test against England. Umesh will replace Shardul Thakur in the squad, and the latter will be released for the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

India achieved an emphatic 317-run win against England in the second Test of the ongoing four-match series. As a result, the series stands level at 1-1 and the Kohli-led side has also reached the second spot in World Test Championship (WTC) standings. 3rd Test match starts on 24th Feb, 2:30 pm on Star sports and Disney Hotstar
