Marcus Stoinis – “The Star Of The Show”
The 19th match of the ongoing 13th season of IPL between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore was an absolute cracker. Capitals all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has displayed his power-hitting ability at Dubai Internation Stadium and made a half-century and helped his side to post a challenging total of 196/4 in 20 overs.
Stoinis was batting at No. 5 positions and he came to bat in the 12th over and at that stage, Delhi was in such a situation that the team required him to score big and score quick.
During the 14th over, Stoinis has started to take off in Moeen Ali’s bowling by hitting a huge six and a four in the very next delivery.
Having faced eight deliveries by the end of this over, Stoinis then took on Navdeep Saini in the following over by scoring six and two fours against RCB’s spearhead.
It was the last delivery of Mohammed Siraj’s spell, Stoinis hit a huge six and made his 15th T20 half-century. Stoinis ended up scoring 53* (26) with the help of six fours and two sixes to put on display some absolute power-hitting.
