It was not less than a heartbreak for all Indian cricket fans when they have heard the news about the suspension of IPL 2021 indefinitely. IPL was one of the primary sources of entertainment for many Indians during this lockdown time. Currently seems like BCCI is looking for a September window to complete the 2nd half of the tournament.
CSK Take Their Fan For A Re-run
When the tournament was suspended CSK was standing at the 2nd position of the points table with 10 pints. They had a terrible run n the last season, where they have not even qualified for the playoffs for the first. This season they have played a total of 7 games and won 5. They have lost 2 games – one was against the might Mumbai Indians and 2nd was against roaring Delhi Capitals.
It was confirmed that the CSK bowling coach L Balaji was also tested positive for covid-19. The 3-time champion has taken their fans into an emotional memory lane with a video which was posted on their Twitter handle and said- “A re-ride of the #Summerof2021! Thirumbi Varuvom,” CSK captioned the video, and also promised fans that they would be back “to finish what they had started”.
