Washington Sundar, an all-rounder representing Royal Challengers Bangalore, will miss the 2nd edition of the Indian Premier League, which begins on 19th September in the UAE. Sundar, together with Avesh Khan, was one of 2 players who played for the County XI versus India in the comforting game, and both of them have been termed out of the England series due to finger ailments.
Interestingly, the franchise has a number of new faces, including Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga, Singapore all-rounder Tim David, pacer Dushmantha Chameera, and England all-rounder George Garton.
The unit was compelled to accept the changes after the Australian trio of Daniel Sams, Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson pulled out of the UAE leg of the contest, as well as the New Zealand duo of Finn Allen and Scott Kuggeleijn, who have been called up to the national team for the forthcoming five-T20I aside set in Bangladesh.
