Mumbai Indians Will Qualify For Playoffs Even This Season: Sreesanth
Over the last few days, Sreesanth has been very active in social media. He went live on Instagram with quite a number of media sources, recalling his 2007 – T20 World Cup performances. During his interaction he selected his best of all-time ODI XI as well four teams that would compete in the Indian Premier League (IPL)’s 13th season which begins this year.
The cash-rich league was supposed to start from 29 March, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. For now, the BCCI has suspended its wait and watch policy on the organization of the competition later this year.
Sreesanth, the pace bowler supported the last year’s champions Mumbai Indians (MI) for a Live Helo session this season. He qualified for the playoffs. Interestingly, the team found that even years didn’t work well. In the odd years 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019, they also won the titles. But even Rohit Sharma rejected the theory of digging in one of the ads aired in front of the IPL.
Which are the other three teams?
The Kerala pacer felt that the ever-consistent Chennai Super Kings (CSK) would take place for the tenth time in the next IPL round. During his life, the MS Dhoni lead group always entered the playoffs. The Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were the final two sides selected for Sreesanth.
The RCB led by Virat Kohli was unable to perform to expectations while the teams are brilliant and strong. In the last three seasons, however, they didn’t qualify for the playoffs. But last year they went at the auction decently and hoped that IPL 2020 might do better.
Finally, Rohit Sharma and his troops defended and supported the Mumbai Indians team for the fifth time to win the trophy.
