“They have been working indoors mainly because there is no permission to do so outside. And there has been raining in Mumbai too,” a franchise source said.

Iyer will go to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru during the first week of August, according to sources. The 26-year-old is believed to have made “significant improvement” and is anticipated to be healthy for the tournament’s 2nd half. Iyer’s final chance to pick up a position in the World T20 XI will depend on his performance in the IPL.
