India Has Enough Money And They Don’t Need A Series To Happen- Kapil Dev:
In the aftermath of the Coronavirus pandemic, former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar was on the receiving end a little to suggest an India-Pakistan charity series in Dubai.
Not just, the former Indian stars, also Zaheer Abbas likes and other Pakistani stars have made it plain that the show will not happen. In addition, Kapil Dev was the one who came up with a stern statement saying that India has enough resources, and they don’t need a series to happen.
He thought that arranging cricket matches in such frightening circumstances would endanger just the teams. Kapil also said it’s not worth a gamble because even a three-match series won’t make a major difference in raising money while adding that no cricket should be played for 5 to 6 months.
Shoaib Akhtar, though, believes that India’s World Cup-winning skipper did not understand the viewpoint he was suggesting the show from. He seemed pretty confident about generating revenue as the audience will definitely only be engaged when there is a solitary match between India and Pakistan.
I Don’t Think Kapil Dev Understood What I Was Trying To Say- Shoaib Akhtar:
“I think that Kapil Dev did not understand what I was trying to suggest. Everyone would be economically stuck. This is the moment to combine our heads and raise sales. I am concerned about the wider context, the structural changes. One single match will attract the global market, and raise sales.
Kapil claimed he did not need the money and he definitely did not. Except for the majority of them do. I think the recommendation will soon be taken into account,” he said while talking to media. Shoaib Akhtar also said he knows India better than the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, and added that both countries suffer from deprivation.
“I said I know India more than I do even know Imran Khan himself. I worked and connected with several citizens in many places. I want to inform you what the Indians are all about here.
Our nations remain in a situation of severe misery. If men hurt I feel distressed. It is my duty as a human being and as a Muslim to support as soon as I can, “the 44-year-old former player said more.
