Left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan and right-arm fast-medium bowler Ishant Sharma will play for Delhi side in their next Ranji Trophy encounter against Hyderabad starting on 25th December.
As Dhawan is concerned, he had a knee injury while playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in Karnataka and had to get 25 stitches. The left-hander Dhawan has been now declared fit by the National Cricket Academy(NCA) and will get some practice game-time for the International games.
Boom: Bumrah is back
“Shikhar and Ishant will be playing for Delhi. my colleague Sarandeep Singh will be watching that match”. – Prasad. who is flying to Surat on Tuesday to watch Japrit Bumrah’s revival to competitive cricket
The Indian fans have one man who has lit up their collective mood, especially those from the previous generations, it is Jasprit Bumrah. This is no injustice to the rest of his fast-bowling teammates, who together have more defined the concepts of a ‘serious’ pace attack to people in their country and outside- Ishant-Sharma, Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Umesh Yadav have all been stirring and sensational in their own right: but the Indian cricket pace revolution has a face that is Bumrah.
The aspect of Gujarat’s game against Kerala is Bumrah, who was out of action due to stress fractures.
Former Cricketers: When we think of Indian Cricketers creating comebacks from damage that becomes highlight material across publications but the mind went back to Sachin and every single injury that became breaking news in the Country. It goes back to Yuvraj Singh, and his return after fighting off cancer, to VVS Laxman and his troubled back, and Virender Sehwag and his troubled shoulder.
But, with the omission of one Zaheer Khan, never have you seen such anticipation for an Indian bowler making a return from an injury-induced break. Indian cricket, and its following, is evolving.
