Sheldon Jackson Provides Free Meals To Poor And Needy People

The coronavirus affects all sectors of society. The COVID-19 outbreak has led to a horrible situation worldwide. More than 14 million people are affected, and about 82,000 people lost their lives. In this desperate time, people are looking for help from influential people. Many well-known and famous people have contributed immensely to the aid funds set up by the State and Central Government.

The 21-days lockdown across the country has only worsened the situation, but the government is doing its best to ensure that the country gets all the goods it needs. Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly recently handed over Rs 50 lakh of rice to the West Bengal government to cope with the situation. He also set out to provide free food to the poor on the streets. Sourashtra batsman Sheldon Jackson inspired by the move and decided to do the same.

Like other celebrities, Sheldon Jackson did not contribute to the aid fund and instead resorted to providing free meals to the public on the streets. He uploaded two videos on Twitter where he can be seen providing food to the poor people. “Heal the world and feed the poor. Be proud of the good you do, ”the 33-year-old batsman captioned one of his videos. He could be seen feeding stray dogs and poor people during this difficult time.
