Sharjeel Khan Will Have A Meeting With His Teammates On Anti-Corruption

Sharjeel Khan, a disgraced player, will soon meet and have a conversation with his Pakistan team members, who are going to play in the upcoming Test match series against Sri Lanka. He will not only meet and have a conversation with the team but also will share his personal experience with them He will give a lecture on the Board’s Anti-Corruption code as part of his rehabilitation program.

Sharjeel has made his comeback to the team after finishing his five-year (half of it was suspended) ban for the case of spot-fixing. It has been stated by the PCB that he will meet with the Pakistan team players at their camp in Rawalpindi before the first test match against Sri Lanka from December 11.

Sharjeel Khan Will Give A Lecture To His Team-mates :

A reliable source in the board said, “Sharjeel will not only meet with the players but also share his experience with them and lecture them on why players need to adhere to the Anti-Corruption code clauses”. 

He said this might be the last part of Sharjeel’s rehab program after which he can return and start playing domestic cricket and the Pakistan Super League(PSL).

On August 30, 2017, the left-handed opener batsman was banned from all forms of cricket for five years due to the allegation of a spot-fixing scandal that took place in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier that year.

The left-handed batsman, Sharjeel Khan, a player of the Islamabad United franchise, was found guilty by the PCB’s Anti-Corruption Tribunal along with other Pakistani players like Khalid Latif (who is still serving a ban), Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Nawaz, Nasir Jamshed (still serving ban) and Shahzaib Hasan (still under a ban).

The 30-year-old player did not want to speak to the media on Wednesday at the UBL sports complex where he was having net sessions.
