Shane Warne has requested a five-day Test match between Australia and India next season. India captain Virat Kohli said the team is available to play pink-ball Test Down Under.

India said it would not play a Day-Night Test against Australia on their turf when they last visited the nation in 2018-19, yet captain Kohli on Monday clarified that his side is “totally open” to play a pink-ball Test in their next visit Down Under.
“I’ve said this previously – yet how great would a five-Test coordinate arrangement between Australia & India be next season. Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide D/N, Melbourne, and Sydney. I trust both BCCI and CA get it going. Booking isn’t a reason,” Warne said in a tweet labeling both the nation’s cricket bodies, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly India and Australia chiefs Kohli and Tim Paine.
Kohli clarified to media:
“Look we played the day-night Test here, we were really content with how it went and it has become an energizing component of any Test arrangement and we are completely up to playing day-night Tests,” Kohli told columnists in front of the first ODI of the three-coordinate arrangement against Australia.
“We are completely up for the test and whether its Gabba, Perth doesn’t make a difference to us. We do have the ranges of abilities presently to go up against anybody on the planet anyplace in any configuration of the game,” Kohli included.

In the meantime, Warne’s and previous Australian captain Ricky Ponting trusted that Team India will be quick to “vindicate themselves.”
“Australia will be loaded with certainty after an incredible World Cup and an extraordinary summer of Test cricket. However, India will be quick to vindicate itself from the last ODI match misfortune against Australia. Expectation: 2-1 Australia,” Ponting said on Twitter during a Q&A session with the fans.
