Scott Styris Revealed Why Indian Pacers Are Struggling Against NZ

India Lost The Match By Ten Wickets In Four Days:

India’s performance in the Wellington Test against New Zealand came as a surprise. Indian Team has lost the match by ten wickets in 4 days. In the past two years, whenever India played overseas, They had a tough time playing in the foreign soil.

Before the victory of the match against Australia, India lost the Test series in South Africa and England. In spite of the loss – The Indian Team has shown their fighting courage and gave a tough fight for the opponents in all those series. Under Virat Kohli captaincy, this was a shred of evidence to the team’s overall growth.

India has struggled badly at Wellington and it is always challenging for the Indian batsman, to bat first on this track as it gets cloudy on the first morning.

The Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma, once again became a reason – why a lot is expected from this combination. Apart from Ishant Sharma, the other two bowlers have struggled to get some swing on this track.

Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand, showed a fantastic batting performance to put his team in the lead. The  Trio Colin de Grandhome, Trent Boult, and Kyle Jamieson took the match from India completely. The main advantage for kiwis is – They were successful in putting some huge score on the board in their first innings.

Scott Styris, The Former New Zealand Cricketer, Stated:

Scott Styris said that – “There is a difference between the New Zealand Pacers and the Indian Pacers. New Zealand bowlers try to push the ball further. As you can observe, they even got a swing in the second innings”.

He had even added – “Indian bowlers are waiting for a seam move from the pitch, and there is nothing worse. Kane Williamson is the only reason to hit the ball off the line”

“Virat Kohli said that he was very happy for his bowlers coming back into the match,” – Scott Styris stated.

India is facing New Zealand in the second Test at Christchurch from February 29. To draw the series, India requires a change in Strategy and a few changes in the playing 11.
