Virat Kohli Revealed It In A Live Chat With Sunil Chhetri:

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli picked up Sachin Tendulkar’s masterclass ‘Desert Storm’ in 1998 in Sharjah. He wished he could have played like that against Australia.  Kohli revealed his admiration for his idol Sachin in his live chat with the Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri on Instagram again.

During their talk from childhood days to the journey of Kohli to become a successful cricketer of India, Chhetri and Kohli addressed many issues. Kohli was swift to pick the Desert storm knock when he has asked to name one of the innings of the past, he wished he could have played. Sachin had faced a desert storm in Sharjah toward a brilliant century that took Australian bowlers to cleaners.

Sachin Tendulkar Had Tormented Australian Bowling Attack:

Master Blaster led the team to the Coca Cola Cup in 1998 with a fantastic knot of 143 runs of 131 shots. He closed his knock with 9 four and 5 six as he hit Shane Warne and Tom Moody in around the park. During his live Chat with Chhetri, Kohli remembered Sachin ‘s epic knock.

Also, during their chat Kohli and Chhetri discussed the memories and spoke about their childhood days while in Delhi. The young cricketers spent their childhood in Delhi and had many stories, from playing gully cricket to bus journeys without tickets and eating at local restaurants. 

Kohli revealed the way he helped the person he is today by losing his father at a young age.
